M.L. Rose is a fantastic brunch spot located in the Melrose area of Nashville. There is usually plenty of parking and brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - 2 PM. During this time you can also get 2 for 1 brunch drinks! Check out their brunch menu here.

Saint Anejo

The. Best. Brunch. Ever. Saint Anejo is a boujee Mexican restaurant that serves brunch on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. They have to most mouth watering Huevos Rancheros, and a lovely selection of breakfast cocktails. Honestly, I could probably eat here everyday.

FRIST Art Museum

This museum is one of a kind - filled with incredible art and rotating visual exhibitions. I visited with my sister when the Nick Cave exhibition was there. It was some of the coolest art I’ve ever seen and definitely got the creative juices flowing. Frist is a must see, especially if you enjoy art.

If you are a member, then you can visit Frist anytime for free. Memberships for individuals are $50/year. Youth 18 and younger are always free. If you are a guest, the ticket is $15 per visit.

Amelia’s Flower Truck

L.A. Jackson

Grab a drink with a view at this fabulous rooftop bar located in the Gulch. L.A. Jackson is on the 12th floor of the Thompson hotel. They serve some of the best cocktails — I highly recommend giving the Frosé a try. On the weekends, there is usually a wait to get in. You’ll receive a token after waiting in line that will allow you to enter the bar. The earlier you get there, the less likely you’ll have to wait!

The Pharmacy

I have yet to find a better burger than here at The Pharmacy. This place has incredible food and drinks, with my favorite being the original burger (substitute mustard with garlic aioli) and sweet potato fries. YUM. *You can't make reservations ahead of time, but you can use the No Wait app to help speed up the waiting process. Most of the time, this place is very busy (especially on weekends), but every now and then there isn't a wait. They also have an awesome outdoor seating area and bar. Located in East Nashville.

Bar Taco

This cute little restaurant is located on 12th South and has the most perfect indoor/outdoor seating. The tacos are tasty and the aesthetic is pleasing. The customer service is also great :) They have their own app called "Bar Taco" which can be used to save time if there's a long wait.

Prince’s Hot Chicken

Nashville is known for hot chicken. It is one of the cities staple foods, and there are several famous hot chicken restaurants around town. One of those being Prince's. There are two locations; the one I went to was in North Nashville. We went on a Sunday afternoon and waited in line for probably an hour, and then it was another hour before our food was ready. The restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall, and the seating reminded me of church pews. Unfortunately, my tolerance for spicy food is basically nada. It looked delicious and the fries were good, but I was only able to take a couple bites of the actually chicken before my mouth felt like it was on fire. However, my parents and husband all loved it and said it was incredible. Hot chicken is definitely a must when visiting Nash!

This restaurant is in the Mt. Juliet/Providence area and is a very fun/trendy place to grab a drink and some dinner. They offer happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-7 PM. Check out their happy hour menu here.

Rose Pepper

This fun restaurant in East Nashville is the perfect place to grab a cold margarita on a hot day. They have some of the best chips and queso and the atmosphere is very lively. Happy hour is from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Fin & Pearl is delish, but a little pricey. Which makes happy hour the perfect time to satisy that fresh seafood craving you've been having. Monday-Friday from 3-6PM they offer drink and food specials. See their happy hour menu here.

Where to Stay

Gaylord Opryland

Gaylord Opryland is a must-see when coming to Nashville. It is located right next to the Grand Ole' Opry and about 10 minutes away from downtown. The hotel is what some would consider "it's own little town" and has around 20 restaurants, a river with small tours, a waterpark (opening in December 2018) and tons of event space. The hotel is very unique, especially during Christmas. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes. If you are staying longer than 30 minutes, you can usually find a spot to park in at Opry Mills and then walk over to Gaylord. Prices range from $159-$400 per night.

Downtown Pool Rooftop Airbnb

There are a lot of Airbnb's to choose from in Nashville. Most of them are extremely affordable, especially if you are traveling with several people. This Airbnb is only $89 a night and has a beautiful rooftop pool. You can reserve your stay here.

As I was browsing through Airbnb's in Nashville, I stumbled upon this tiny house and fell in LOVE. I'm actually considering a staycation now, because this place is so darn cute. Anyways, you can stay in this tiny house for $86 per night. That's a steal. It doesn't give you the exact location, but it appears to be close to be in south Nashville, not far from all the action. There are several locations, but this one in particular is located in the Gulch. There is super cute outdoor seating, along with tons of indoor seating. The music is played on a record player and the decor is very industrial. The space is open and filled with lots of light.

I Believe In Nashville

You can’t visit Nashville without taking a pic next to the iconic “I believe in Nashville” mural! This very famous mural can be found on 12th S. next to Draper James!
